Public Artwork
The Amenity Trust has commissioned a sculpture from local artist and teacher Ian Brady which is to be erected near the bus station and the ferry terminal. An earlier wotk by Mr Brady is on view in Perceval Square.
Three large wooden carvings of a chess piece from the Lewis Chessmen have been commissioned from locally-based Vince Martin. One is in place in the ferry terminal.
