Street Name Plates
A host of street name plates in Gaelic and English, along with fingerposts at crucial junctions in central Stornoway, were put up by the Amenity Trust to mark the arrival of the Royal National Mod in 2001. A decorative style was chosen in order to enhance the appearance of junctions and crossings in Stornoway.
